How to get to Terceira island
The best way to get to Terceira is by plane (Lajes Airport (TER)). There are daily flights from Lisbon or Porto, a two-hour and half trip, and direct links to the United States and Canada.
Azores Airlines flies daily to the other islands of the archipelago, taking about 40 minutes when departing from S. Miguel and Faial Islands.
From May to October, you can get to the other islands by ferry boat.
